The 2025 Leominster Championship continues with rounds three and four played last Tuesday. The results were as follows:
Results: Rounds 3 and 4
We are now two weeks in to the Leominster Championship 2025; round 3 began with 2024 Champion Stephen Priestley scoring a point against John Preece. All other games were decisive with wins for Steve Olrog, Daniel Timm and Richard Croot.
Round 4 saw Stephen Priestly paired with Richard Croot in the meeting of the two highest rated players (so far!). Stephen came well prepared and was able to take the full point to remain unbeaten in the 2025 Championship.

Our thriving junior section continued with twelve players taking part in both rounds. At the top the table Alex Adarski got the win against Lewis Mears and Leon Warner got the win against Eve Powis.
Round four saw a single draw between Alex and Archie, while there were wins for Lewis, Arthur, Hector, Theo and Kayden. Alex remains at the top of the standings but Archie, Lewis and Arthur are hot on his heels, only a half a point away!
