SUMMARY:Leominster Championship 2025: Rounds 1-8
DESCRIPTION:The Leominster Championship 2025 will be taking place from Tuesday 7th October to Tuesday 2nd of December. We begin with 4 weeks of round robin play where points are awarded for wins (half point for a draw). The players with the most point after four weeks then proceed to the knockout rounds\, which begin on Tuesday 11th November. \nNormal club nights will always run alongside the championship\, for those players not wishing to take part. \nPlayers of all ages and abilities are welcome in the club championship\, helping us build a legacy for chess in Leominster!

If arriving by car the parking is at the rear of the building\, enter via the Broad Street car park (the turning by the Factory Shop and fire station). \nFees\nOur club runs on donations\, a suggested fee of £1 per player per session will go towards our running costs. \nWhat is provided?\nThe club provides chess sets and clocks (for those who want to use them) so there is no need to bring your own. Refreshments are also provided.
